SmartRoute for Gravity Forms is a WordPress plugin published by Smart Route, accessible at wp-smartroute.com.

2. Data we collect
2.1 When you purchase a license
When you purchase SmartRoute, the following data is collected and processed by our payment provider, Freemius, acting as Merchant of Record:
- Full name and email address
- Billing address
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe via Freemius — we never store card numbers)
- IP address and purchase date
2.2 When you create a customer account
After purchase, a customer account is automatically created on the Freemius platform (users.freemius.com) with your:
- Email address (used as login)
- Full name
- License key associated with your purchase
You can access and manage your account at any time at wp-smartroute.com/my-account.
2.3 When you use the SmartRoute plugin
The SmartRoute plugin processes data on your own WordPress installation. We do not have access to your form entries, your CSV contact lists, or any data processed by the plugin on your server. This data never leaves your WordPress environment.
The only external call made by the plugin is to Freemius license validation servers to verify your license key — no personal data from your forms is transmitted.
2.4 When you contact support

- Technical information you voluntarily share (WordPress version, plugin version, etc.)
3. How we use your data
- Order fulfillment — to deliver your license key and provide access to downloads
- License management — to validate your license and manage renewals
- Customer support — to respond to your requests
- Account management — to provide access to your customer account
- Legal obligations — to comply with applicable tax and accounting regulations
We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
4. Data sharing
We share your data only with the following third parties, strictly necessary for operating our service:
- Freemius — our Merchant of Record, handling payments, subscriptions, license management and customer portal. Privacy Policy

We never sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Data retention
- Customer account data — retained for the duration of your subscription and 3 years after its end for legal and accounting purposes
- Support requests — retained for 2 years
- Purchase records — retained for 10 years as required by French accounting law
